Narcissus Jonquilla

Spring flowering bulb

Flower colour: yellow, white and yellow, yellow and orange

Flowering period: April – June

Average plant height: 25 – 35 cm

Spacing between bulbs: 5 – 7.5 cm

Type of bulb: bulb

This narcissus should not be confused with the common jonquil, Narcissus pseudonarcissus. This may be the reason people use the term ‘Small Jonquil’ to distinguish the two. The cup of these narcissi is not that large: usually half the length of the perianth petals. Each stem has 2 to 6 flowers with an utterly delicious scent. These narcissi require a sunny location.
