Snowflake

Spring flowering bulb

Type of bulb: corm

Leucojum makes one think of snowdrops; both belong to the same family. Leucojum, however has six petals which are equal in length. Galanthus has three long petals and three short ones. Another distinguishing feature of Leucojum is its yellow-green spots at the tips of the petals.
